JOINING ECV THIS FALL
Studying at one of ECV’s 6 schools allows you to access high-quality French education, experiment, and enhance your creative talent. With campuses in Paris, Bordeaux, Strasbourg, Aix-en-Provence, Nantes, and Lille, ECV has chosen to establish itself in the heart of major French cities that are creative, dynamic, and open to the world.
Are you an international student wanting to study visual creation in France? Our International Office is here to guide you through the entire admission process. If you are from outside the European Union, you will need to apply for a student visa through the French consulate in your home country.
We accept applications throughout the year, depending on available spots.
For students from outside the European Union, we recommend submitting your application before the end of June to allow enough time for consular formalities and to arrive in France on time.
- September: Opening of international admissions
- Courses run from September to June.

ECTS Credits
The European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) is a learning measurement system designed to clearly demonstrate acquired knowledge and skills. The value of ECTS credits is determined based on student workload and learning outcomes. In other words, credits reflect the amount of effort required to learn course content and achieve academic objectives.
One ECTS credit typically corresponds to 25 to 30 hours (including both class time and personal study). For example, a 6 ECTS credit course means you have dedicated 150 to 180 hours to complete it. These numerical references make it easier for students to showcase their academic achievements when applying for international study programs, further education at a different institution, or employment opportunities.
